Christmas in my Family!

I recently wrote a post about my families Christmas memories and traditions at 4 or More: Lots of Kids... Lots of Love.

I love Christmas, I always have. I have very fond memories of Christmas as a child. My Aunt and Uncle and my three cousins would come down from the coast and stay with us. We would all squash into our small house on Christmas Eve and wake up together on Christmas morning. Before everyone was properly awake we would all be ripping into our presents from Santa and would have pulled every toy from it's packaging before breakfast. The rest of the family would arrive around 9am and there would be more present opening, playing, lunch and then more playing while most of the adults had an afternoon nap. Read More...........

Bandana Totes - A Cute & Frugal Christmas Gift

My friend Lorie sent this link in to my Christmas meme and I thought it was a fantastic Christmas gift idea. My daughter has already made a tote using a piece of Christmas fabric and it turned out really cute.

A few years ago I made a Christmas Countdown Activity Booklet for my kids and put it on our 'Our Little Space on the Net' website. There is a different activity to do each day starting on December 1st until Christmas Day.

The World's Most Useful Gift!

Lightening linked her great blog post The Spirit of Christmas to my Christmas Meme on my A Juggling Mum blog and she has given me a fabulous idea that I thought I would share with you

Give your childrens teachers school supplies this year as a gift. Now I am not just talking about any school supplies here, through Tear Australia you can purchase for $5, a supply of workbooks, exercise books, pencils and paper, or slate and chalk, to enable a child from a poor family to attend a community school. What could be better than that?
